Not rock

(anything not rock related)

Back at Causey! And it has to be said that all the reasons for leaving this crag alone for a while been resolved.  With a lot more experience and rope skills in tow, we top belayed the parts we couldn't / wouldn't reach by lowering onto nice ledges etc.   I had a bit of a fright when a crow flew out of a crack on telstar direct, but other than that it was a fine climb with some tricky jamming at the top.

We practiced some leading on a low severe and some rope skills by topping out, anchoring and rappelling down.

Some bouldering and traversing finished the day off at the crag that gave us our first outdoor climb.

Small but tricky to practice gear placements on route 1

Left,   Bouldered up n over the corners

Right,   "Telstar"

The crack through the middle a nice MVS all the way up with a crux at the top on sight, enjoyed it much more second time.
