Dunston and whickham thorns centre. A nice man made, free bouldering wall to play on. Personally I think its under rated, the fact that it is frequented by local kids etc seems to put climbers off, but if you don't mind a healthy mix of cigarettes and nylon tracksuites--your on a winner. We found loads of good problems with features you cant replicate with bolt on holds on boards. |

Great fun on the arch here, again it needs some work to make the full ceiling traverse Im sure if I squeeze it between my legs though it will give in eventually |

Yep, someone flashing your face with a camera is always good for large overhanging problems. And so are pies, beer and flip flops. |
