Its weird to see that we did more outdoor stuff in winter and early spring than the summer! The rain has been killer though. Here we are, back at Causey on some different routes. It has to be said that im NOT planning on doing any mountain routes just yet, after we managed to send a rope and a flask off the edge here. Some pleasant bouldering was had too on the low undercut, starting seated. I really enjoyed the day. it was nice to get my knees scraped on some overhanging blocks instead of clinging onto brightly coloured resin shapes. |

Right: Causey Crack (VS) looks really easy but it took me by surprise and I didn't get it til second time around. |

Boulder prob Usually if something's way too hard I lose interest, however this went from "Impossible" to "within reach" after about 30mins. With the first few moves cracked and only a shelf to the top-- I reckon Ill have it soon. |
